We got this mailbox to replace the Special Lite Town Square mailbox that was destroyed by a car running down the cluster of mailboxes at the end of our road. We ordered the Savannah this time because it was a little bigger and we thought it would be better for journals and packages. It just arrived and I have to say, the quality is not nearly as good as the Town Square. First of all, it is not cast aluminum like the Town Square was. The door is cast aluminum. The box itself is typical bent sheeting of, I'm hoping, aluminum (and not steel that will rust). It is fairly thick, not thin and easily bendable like cheaper boxes.
