This mailbox is actually a deal! It's sturdy black metal in a powder black finish. I adore the holes within the box since it adds a decorative touch to a plain black box and I can just appear from a distance and see if there is mail. It truly is just the best size also for bigger envelopes to fit, not too deep either for a vertical mount.

I ordered this mailbox for it's great classic looks and sturdy construction. Regrettably, I didn't realize that it would make my mail wet and crumpled. I live in a very rainy location, and the rain somehow often gets inside and gets all of my mail wet. Plus, the way the slot is situated, the mailperson constantly ends up jamming all of my mail into the slot and it gets all crushed. I was better off with my old clunky, ugly, but effiecient box. Now, even though the front of my house looks much better, I have crumpled crushed wet mail.
